"When we moved to Federal republic of germany in 2013 I decided it was time to get-go a blog to share my adventures with the world. Of course, nosotros've moved over again since then and are now residing in our 2d home in South Carolina . I went back to work full time in 2022 designing and project managing kitchen and bathroom remodels. But I'one thousand still all nigh making my house MY dwelling! This fourth dimension in the house nosotros plan to stay in for a while."
"When we bought our electric current home nosotros were not really looking for a house just checking out the market place. My husband was all the same active duty and hadn't even decided if he was ready to retire even so. We looked at the house simply to see what was available in out price range. But it's kind of similar looking at puppies. Don't do it unless you are ready to take one home! Information technology was the only house we looked at. It needed some cosmetic updates just the basic were perfect.
Sunroom Afterward
Having lived in quite a few house we had a dream home wish list. This one ticked ALL the boxes! With 8 months left on our rental lease we made an offer and let fate decide. Well I guess you lot know what fate had to say, because here we are iii years later. My husband has since retired from the Army and is now working with the war machine every bit a civilian. I guess the the house made the decisions for us!"
Our favorite room has to be the sunroom. We accept a lake out back with a beautiful view and lots of wild animals.
"If it's also hot in the summertime or too cold in the winter we just accept our morn java in the comfort of the sunroom. We are still able to enjoy the outdoors."

"I also enjoy the bonus room over the garage since nosotros take converted it into a guest suite." We live far from our families in New Orleans and along the Gulf Declension. Information technology's nice to have a comfortable place for people to stay when they come up to visit.

The master bathroom has had gentle updates with pigment and a few other touches.
